life Questioni d’inizio anno 2008: La vita degli operai.
L’anno che si è chiuso e quello che comincia ad incamminarsi verso primavera è stato costellato da innumerevoli casi di incidenti mortali sul lavoro. Ciò che è avvenuto alle acciaierie Thyssen, ha scoperchiato le responsabilità del mondo delle imprese. Le morti sul lavoro sono uscite dalla considerazione pubblicistica della marginalità delle piccole imprese. Con la Thyssen, ma anche con l’ILVA di Taranto, si è riaperta la questione del lavoro Killer, la media nazionale delle morti è passata da tre degli anni passati a quattro al giorno, la gravità sociale del fenomeno ha sommerso l’intero ambiente politico. L’ esempio di cui mi servirò per dimostrare l’infodatezza di questo accordo è tratto dalla discussione che K. Marx sostenne a Londra nel 1865, in una serie di conferenze dell’Internazionale Operaia da un anno appena fondata, il cui contenuto è stato pubblicato col titolo “Salario, Prezzo e Profitto”.
In quell’occasione Marx trattò vari argomenti:
1 - Dimostrò che l’aumento o la diminuzione del salario non intacca la legge del valore. In determinate condizioni di stabilità tra capitale e lavoro la merce prodotta ha sempre lo stesso valore. Per cui, la diminuzione o l’aumento del salario significano soltanto il relativo aumento o diminuzione del profitto, e non già la scomparsa di esso quale incarnazione della classe capitalistica e del suo “circolo infernale” dei prezzi e dei salari.
2- Precisato questo punto, come un principio da cui non si può deviare, passò ad esaminare la dinamica economico - sociale del capitale, i cui due elementi essenziali sono la concorrenza e la concentrazione.
3- Dalle conclusioni su questo secondo punto che illustrerò di seguito, Marx passò ad esaminare tutte le possibili azioni che gli operai potevano portare union on the ground. Anche se una parte del contenuto di questo libro trova largo uso nella cosiddetta “politica dei redditi”, che con parole più roboanti quali “giustizia sociale” o “redistribuzione sociale della ricchezza”, viene presentata dai sinistri come ultima spiaggia, l’ulteriore sviluppo dell’analisi di Marx, di cui il punto 2 è la premessa, ci fa capire non solo che la politica dei redditi è un imbroglio dei padroni, benché si presenti con un lato positivo, ma scopriremo addirittura che in determinate condizioni si arriva alla sua stessa impossibilità.
Le condizioni attuali lo dimostrano a sufficienza. Alla insopportabile condizione economica dei lavoratori che in quest’anno fuoriesce dall’inferno della loro vita, la borghesia risponde accorgendosi della loro miseria. Non perché produttori espropriati della ricchezza che producono, per la quale si dovrebbe stabilire in via del tutto pacifica un aumento dei salari, ma perchè la loro miseria deprime i consumi e quindi la produzione industriale e la crescita economica della società.
